This app stores up to 300 days of historical data, allowing users to efficiently track their system performance. The LCD screen and buttons on the controller allow you to check device operating data and modify controller parameters. Note that the Bluetooth connection is effective within a 10m/33ft range in an unobstructed area.

Low-Temp Cut-Off Protection for LiFePO4

The HQST 80A MPPT solar charge controller offers low-temperature charging and discharging cut-off protection for LiFePO4 batteries, ensuring they are protected when the temperature drops below 32℉ for charging and below 5℉ for discharging. This function can be manually switched on and off. Additionally, the controller can re-activate dormant LiFePO4 batteries that have turned off due to over-discharging.

Improved High-Efficiency Charging

Equipped with advanced MPPT technology, the HQST 80A MPPT charge controller achieves a high tracking efficiency of up to 99% and a peak conversion efficiency of 98.7%, which is around 30% higher than PWM technology. This maximizes energy from your solar panels to charge your system. The controller supports 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery systems and is compatible with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), sealed, AGM, GEL, flooded, and user-customized battery types.

Parallel Charge Extension Function

To meet high power charging requirements without reinstalling the entire solar panel system, the HQST 80A MPPT solar charge controller features a parallel charge extension function. You can connect up to 9 M4880F or M48100F models using parallel charge cables (not included) to increase the charging current for your single battery bank system. Ensure all controllers are set to the same battery voltage.

Active Cooling Fan System & Comprehensive Safety Protection

The HQST 80A MPPT solar charge controller includes an active cooling fan system that starts cooling automatically when the charge controller runs at high power or exceeds 113℉, ensuring consistent efficiency. The controller offers 10 protections against overcharging, over-voltage, over-current, overheating, and reverse polarity, enhancing protection against system faults and installation errors.
